Before heading to the medieval town of Asolo, we stopped to see the Carlo Scarpa monumental Brion Tomb. It is regarded as a masterpiece of modernist architecture and a powerful commemorative monument. Venetian influences such as the gold tiles familiar from Byzantine mosaics and Japanese influences, like Zen Garden – an island adorned with beautiful water lilies with a pavilion dedicated to meditation in the center are evident in the design. 🇮🇹🌞 #verytroubledchild #italia
