Inside dreamy Villa Durazzo in Santa Margherita 🇮🇹❤️ Some backstory: Gio Luca Durazzo inherited the villa in 1664 from his father, when the property was still a mere country house with a turret. Durazzo embarked on restoration and renovation works in 1678 in order to create a villa in Genoese style. The villa incorporates the esthetics utilized by famous Galeazzo Alessi, a style that dominated Genoese architecture in the second half of the previous century.
