First day in Santa Margherita Ligure, where we followed the sage advice & recommendations of our friend Luigi, who is an aficionado of the place since he was a toddler. We are enchanted! 🇮🇹 We visited Grande Emporio Seghezzo — probably the fanciest deli in Liguria where we bought delicious almond amaretti — then we had a cup of cappuccino and hazelnut bignè at Arte Dolce (👉🏼 @pasticceriaartedolcesml ), next we grabbed focaccia at Fiordiponti (👉🏼 @panificiofiordiponti ) and after a quick snack, we headed for a proper lunch at Trattoria Da Pino ♥️🇮🇹 What an afternoon! 🌞 #verytroubledchild #santamargheritaligure #liguria #italia

Crowds in Pisa 🇮🇹 Few days ago we left our Tuscan villa for a day to visit one of the former Italian maritime republics. Today we paid a visit to the 18th century baths at @termedimontecatini once favoured by Giuseppe Verdi and Giacomo Puccini. We are grateful to the immensely helpful Mr Massimo of @termedimontecatini for giving us a quick tour of the baths and to Mr Renzo @caffestoricotettuccio for telling us many tales about the caffe’ legendary past and its famous guests!
