The ‘François Voltaire’ suitcase number 4

The Travel Bag inspired by the Hotel Chevalier & The Darjeeling Limited movies by Wes Anderson.

A. Manufacturing details

The bag is made of genuine first-grain leather, with inner lining made of green microfiber (there is a zipped pocket on one side, and two open pockets on the other side). The leather is slightly waxed for enhanced durability. The various leather panels are sewed with durable yellow thread, like in the movie. All animals and palms are manually embossed from a metal stamp, and subsequently color-printed on leather. The number “4” is printed in white color on the leather, without embossing (same as in the movie).

B. Personalizations

In the second photo you can see that I left a blank space between the handles in case you want to personalize your bag with your own initials and make it your very own: upon purchase, just remember to provide up to three initials in the “Note to Seller” field. Your initials will be carefully hand-painted in white Futura Type – same as the Number 4 – between the bag’s handles (one side only). Initials will be painted with multiple layers of durable white acrylic paint specifically made for leather, without embossing (same as in the movie). If you want any further personalization (your own color combination, different font, etc.), please let me know by sending me a convo here on Etsy (or an email to: vtc [!at] verytroubledchild.com) and we can agree how I can execute your own ideas.

D. Accessories The bag is provided with a small golden lock to secure the zip, a double-stitched leather luggage tag, and a detachable leather shoulder strap (same as in the movie).

E. Manufacture & Delivery This item is only made to order (and not mass produced): please allow 3 to 4 weeks for manufacture. It will be then delivered worldwide to your door by express courier (Hong Kong Post, with tracking number).

F. Returns

Please read carefully below:

1. Bag without initials/personalization: if for any reason you are not happy with this purchase, please send me an email within 7 days from delivery: we will arrange for the return and I will fully refund you the purchase price and the shipping costs. No question asked.

2. Bag with your initials/personalization: if the bag is personalized with your initials, the sale is final and no returns can be accepted.
