Busy holiday weekend in Italy! Everyone is going places and booking restaurants in advance is a must. When we arrived at the acclaimed Le Colline Emiliane restaurant in Rome, people were queuing in hope that there will be some “no show” cancellations, but unfortunately for them the restaurant was full. We had tortellini al brodo and braised veal with artichoke and onions, paired with primitivo wine. We ended the night with more wine (Nebbiolo) and one tiramisu to share. Plus, I’m bringing to Milan 1kg of homemade ravioli from the Laboratorio, as you can purchase a selection of fresh handmade pasta too 🍝 We treat ourselves well! 🇮🇹 #verytroubledchild #roma #italia

Days in Milan: two cappuccinos and a brioche at our favorite cafeteria in the morning, quick visit at our trusty frame shop, quick stop at home, lunch outside, window shopping, “de rigueur” visit at Bottone (👉 @bottonecannoli ) who makes the best Sicilian cannoli in the City, some more shopping (Alberto), and finally a 20 minute walk back home.
