Beach day at the famous Canzone del mare in Capri 🇮🇹 🌞 🌊 It is another stunning beach club in Marina Piccola with Faraglioni views, small beach, salt water pool and its own restaurant. We tried spaghetti alle vongole, gnocchi with zucchini flowers and mussels, stewed aubergines and sautéed escaroles with olives. Going to Santa Margherita Ligure (aka SML for the aficionados of the Italian Riviera) is like being instantly thrown back to Italy’s Golden Age between ‘800 and ‘900, when Liguria was the destination of choice of French, English and German literary masters, not to mention Russian and Belgian royalties together with their numerous entourage. First day in Santa Margherita Ligure, where we followed the sage advice & recommendations of our friend Luigi, who is an aficionado of the place since he was a toddler. We are enchanted! 🇮🇹 We visited Grande Emporio Seghezzo — probably the fanciest deli in Liguria where we bought delicious almond amaretti — then we had a cup of cappuccino and hazelnut bignè at Arte Dolce (👉🏼 @pasticceriaartedolcesml ), next we grabbed focaccia at Fiordiponti (👉🏼 @panificiofiordiponti ) and after a quick snack, we headed for a proper lunch at Trattoria Da Pino ♥️🇮🇹 What an afternoon! 🌞 #verytroubledchild #santamargheritaligure #liguria #italia
